Rollins Scratched, Myers Wild

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins was scratched from today's lineup in the series finale against the Mets (Getty Images).

The Phillies just announced that Jimmy Rollins has been scratched from this afternoon's lineup against the Mets at Shea Stadium. Eric Bruntlett is taking his place, and hitting leadoff.

We don't know why Rollins has been pulled, but when we do we'll let you know.


Harry Kalas, who had surgery to repair a detached retina last Friday, has been cleared to return to work and will rejoin the team Saturday. He will travel with the team Sunday to Washington DC.
