Rollins Is Back ... Really!

It finally happened.

The Phillies have activated Jimmy Rollins from the 15-day disabled list. He will hit leadoff tonight against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. Rollins has been on the DL since April 20 with a sprained left ankle, although he first injured the ankle April 8 against the New York Mets at Shea Stadium.

To make room for Rollins on the 25-man roster, they have optioned infielder Brad Harman to double-A Reading.

Pat is cooling waaaaay off and that stinks cause if history repeats, he'll slump for a while before hitting again(like july). Lohse had a bad game yesterday, so that looks good for the Phils LOL...Hamels needs to step it up 2nite big time!!!

Totally. Nice to see our "Aces" in top form. Hamels and Myers both have ADD.

Sorry, winning like this - with really really inconsistent starting pitching - won't last.

Has anyone checked Ryan Howard's eyesight? Maybe all that is needed is glasses?

We won another won ugly, only because the other team has more holes than us.....we haven't beaten another team's ace yeat and our "Aces" are anything but.....it's the same old song...we'll win our share of games, maybe even the division then get beat by good pitching in the first series we play. Our aces need to take a few ace lessons from the Webbs and Peavys and Hallidays of the world. Our hitters need to learn how to get on base and make contact consistently in any situation. This strike out madness has got to stop.....

Solution: Myers back to the pen, he can't concentrate for more than 3 hitters anyway, so make him the 8th inning guy as Gordon's arm is not going to make it to June 1...every batter of every inning is painful to watch with him out there...missing his spots by 3 feet and rubbing his forehead and then the ball between every pitch is the sure sign of a man on his last legs....let's get Benson up here to fill Myers rotation spot.....let's fine Victorino every time he pops up a bunt or swings out of his shoes under a ball to pop up in a cucuial situation...I never thought I'd miss Michael Bourn so much......
