This just in, from the Phillies:

Individual tickets go on sale tomorrow morning. The Majestic Clubhouse store opens at 7 a.m., with a 15 percent discount all day. Tickets go on sale at 9 am at the West Ticket Windows, near the Majestic store.

The team promises surprises for early-risers.

They actually went on sale on Wednesday and just about all the good stuff is sold out already or standing room. It just isn't fair!

I knew that would happen this year. Which is why we bought a 17-game plan. It was hard enough to get tix last year. I miss the days when a nice summer evening inspired a trip to the ballpark, but i'll take a WS win in its place-- sellouts are the price you pay :)

I can't wait to see the best interleague rivalry in the game Toronto-Philadelphia. The Gillick Showdown.

Seriously? Its Sunday night and we still have the Wednesday blog as the most recent? LAAAAMMEEEE. Give me someone worth while writing this blog. Or at least pretend you actually want to be doing this. Cause to this point its pretty clear this has been a half hearted effort.

About Matt Gelb and Bob Brookover

Bob Brookover and Matt Gelb team up for their third straight season covering the Phillies for the Inquirer and philly.com.

This is Brookover’s second stint writing about the Phillies, having joined the coverage team after seven years as an Eagles beat writer. Brookover was hired by The Inquirer in 2000 as the Phillies beat writer after spending 13 years writing about the team for two suburban newspapers. While on the Eagles beat, Brookover, who had covered just two winning Phillies teams in 15 seasons, saw the Phillies move into a cash-cow new ballpark and begin playing a brand of the game he found unrecognizable. Gelb is in his third season covering the Phillies. He was hired by The Inquirer in August 2009 after graduating from Syracuse University. He has also covered baseball at The Star-Ledger and Cape Cod Times. Born and raised in Bucks County, he attended Central Bucks High School West. Follow him on Twitter here.
