Phillies invite 13 to spring training, including Domonic Brown

The Phillies have invited 13 more players to spring training, including outfielder stud untouchable Domonic Brown and hard-throwing big righty prospect Phillippe Aumont, who was a key part of the Cliff Lee deal with Seattle.

 The Phillies have invited 13 more players to spring training, including outfielder stud untouchable Domonic Brown and hard-throwing big righty prospect Phillippe Aumont, who was a key part of the Cliff Lee deal with Seattle.

   Brown, 22, was named the Phillies' top minor league prospect by  Baseball America. He also was named to the Arizona Fall League's top prospect list last year. He hit .303 in 66 games for single-A Clearwater and .279 in 37 games for AA Reading.

   The 6-7 Aumont, 21, was 2-6 with 16 saves and 59 strikeouts in 51 innings in A and AA, with a 3.88 ERA.

  Also invited were infielders Ozzie Chavez, 26, Freddy Galvis, 20, and outfielders Tyson Gillies, 21, who was acquired in the Lee trade.

  Four catchers were invited without their AARP cards: Tuffy Gosewisch, 26, Kevin Nelson, 28, Dane Sardinha, 30, and John Suomi, 30.

  Former No,.1 pick Joe Savery, 24, heads the list of other pitchers, which includes B.J. Rosenberg, 25, Ryan Voglesong, 32, and Ehren Wasserman, 29.
