Myers' Minor Debut

Brett Myers pitched tonight for triple-A Lehigh Valley and here's his line:

5 innings
5 hits
3 runs
3 earned runs
2 walks
6 strikeouts
1 wild pitch

He threw 100 pitches, 60 for strikes.

I'm not there so I can't say how he looked, but Phil Sheridan is in Allentown and he'll have a column in tomorrow's paper about it. But the word is that Myers threw a lot of curveballs and not many fastballs, which seems strange because they feel he needs to gain better control of his fastball.
