TORONTO — The Phillies shuffled their righthanded relief corps Thursday when veteran Shawn Camp was outrighted to make room for the addition of Luis Garcia.

This was Garcia's second recall; he appeared in one game last month. The 27-year-old Dominican had not allowed a run in 11 games for triple-A Lehigh Valley. He struck out 13 and walked four in 13 2/3 innings. He saved six games as the IronPigs closer.

Garcia, signed from independent ball last spring, pitched in 24 games for the Phillies last season. He displayed poor control with 23 walks in 31 1/3 innings.

Camp, 38, pitched in three games for the Phillies, including Wednesday's 10-0 rout. He allowed seven hits to 15 batters faced. He can elect free agency or accept an assignment to triple A.

His removal puts the Phillies at 39 on the 40-man roster.

Ethan Martin, another righthanded possibility for the bullpen, continued his rehab from a shoulder strain Wednesday with single-A Clearwater. He allowed two hits in a scoreless inning. A scout clocked Martin's fastball between 88 and 90 m.p.h. The 24-year-old reliever averaged 93 m.p.h. on his fastball in 2013, and threw it harder in short bursts.
