Lidge pitches Wednesday

Brad Lidge will see his first game action of the spring Wednesday at noon. Ruben Amaro Jr. just clarified that it will be an intrasquad game, rather than a B game. Chad Durbin will also debut in that game. Lidge says he threw a bullpen yesterday and feels good, and that he is ready to pitch in a Grapefruit League game.

Here’s the lineup for today’s 1:05 Grapefruit Leaguer versus Cincinnatti:

Bruntlett SS
Dobbs LF
Werth CF
Howard 1B
Ibanez DH
Jenkins RF
Donald 3B
Cairo 2B
Marson C

Pitchers: Hamels, Carpenter, Bastardo, Lehr, Mosebach, Escalona

Anyone else wake up this morning in what felt like the middle of the night, only to check your phone and discover that it actually was 7:00, just really dark? Does daylight savings make anyone else angry?
