Happy Feliz
Pedro Feliz came up huge last night in a 5-2 in 12 innings over the Dodgers.

The Phillies activated Pedro Feliz from the 15-day disabled list week, and asked what that meant to the team Charlie Manuel said a few things:
1) It provided the Phillies stronger defense at third base.
2) It strengthened the bench.
3) It boosted the lineup because Feliz seems to come up with clutch hits time to time.
We're not calling Manuel the next Nostradamus, but Feliz came off the bench last night to have two huge hits in last night's 5-2 victory in 11 innings over the Los Angeles Dodgers. He hit a game-tying single in the ninth inning and a game-winning three-run homer to left-center field in the 11th inning. The victory allowd the Phillies to move within a half-game behind the New York Mets in the National League East.
"If that doesn't inspire you or give you a lift, I don't think you like to play," Manuel said.
Or watch.
An absoluting outstanding game and outstanding series. This is the TEAM that makes us all proud and bleed Phillies Red.....I think we all agree on that......I am almost ready to believe that Myers is back from the brink and for real.....one more dominating performance like tonight and I'm a convert. Jroll needs to swing the same and hustle the same from here on out...Werth hustling was awesome just like Shane last night....so why did this team NOT play like this the last 3 months? If they've been taking games or series off, God help them, they deserve the boos.....if they played hard every night like they did this week, they'd never hear any, for the effort they've displayed the last few games is all we ask. We don't mind them losing, we know they can't win them all, but hustle, look like you want to win, that you care.....this can be Baseball Heaven, if you just give us that working man effort..... Another great win- great effort by everyone up and down the lineup. I loved seeing Jimmy not swinging for the fences- the ironic thing is, we saw last year that when he doesn't swing for the fences he actually hits more homers. We really need him to keep getting on base, the rest of the lineup is so much more productive when he does. I also loved Howard's AB in the 7th against Park- when he stays on the ball and doesn't try to pull everything it's frightening how hard he can hit it to all parts of the field. I also loved Werth's aggressive baserunning, glad to see the team trying to make things happen instead of waiting for the three run HR. Lots of runners let on by Myers but 7 IP and 0 ER speaks for itself. One last thing on my body double Joe Blanton- take away his first start, which I only think is fair because he was 14 days between starts and his ERA as a Phillie is about 3.70. He's been fine. Tied in the loss column with the Muts, let's pass them tomorrow night- GO PHILS!!!!!! KMG
