Halladay open for trade

ST. LOUIS - American League All Star starting pitcher Roy Halladay says he is open to the idea of being traded.
"There's a point in your career where you need to just take a chance and win," Halladay said Monday at an All Star press conference. "I think at this point, I'm ready to take the chance and try to win."
The Toronto Blue Jays pitcher indicated he'd be willing to be traded without first agreeing to a contract extension. He is signed through 2010.
The Phillies have expressed interest in acquiring Halladay, who is 10-3 with a 2.85 ERA.
