It's not every game when the opposition can throw $353 million worth of pitching at you. The Yankees did just that with CC Sabathia, Hiroki Kuroda and Masahiro Tanaka. They looked the part, even on the first day of March.

Jeremy Horst stumbled through the seventh inning against Yankees minor leaguers. He allowed two runs on two hits and two walks and labored.

"What I need to do is just get my timing back and keep on pitching," Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez said. "It will come along. The more I pitch, the better I will feel."
