Grape 8: Phillies at Blue Jays

The Phillies face reigning Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey in Saturday's Grapefruit League action.

Grape 8: Phillies at Blue Jays

CLEARWATER, Fla. — The Phillies were not upset to see R.A. Dickey leave the National League East. In the last three seasons, the knuckleballer made nine starts for the Mets vs. Philadelphia. He had a 2.90 ERA in those games, although the Phillies hit him better with time.

They will not see Dickey, now a Toronto Blue Jay, during the regular season. But the Jays train all of five miles from Clearwater, so Dickey is not too far in the springtime. He will pitch Saturday.

It is Dickey's last appearance with Toronto before departing to lead the United States' rotation in the World Baseball Classic.
