Game Times Announced for Games 1, 2 and 3

POSTED: Sunday, September 28, 2008, 10:00 PM

How far will the Phillies go in the playoffs?
First-round loss
NLCS loss
World Series loss
World Series champions

Major League Baseball has announced the start times for Games 1, 2 and 3 of the National League division series between the Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers. In a shocker, they are the early games because the Cubs/Dodgers and Red Sox/Angels get prime time.

Hope you have a sick day available Wednesday:

Game 1 on Wednesday in Philadelphia: 3 p.m.

Game 2 on Thursday in Philadelphia: 6 p.m.

Game 3 on Saturday in Milwaukee: 6:30 p.m.

Game times for Games 4 and 5 will be announced later.

Games will be broadcast on TBS.

3pm start time for the playoffs?! Who does the scheduling? I mean, yeah, I'll be listening on the radio from work, but how is this gonna help the ratings for MLB?

Two years in a row MLB screws us with lousy start times. Unbelievable.

Helen Keller could have seen that one coming. No big shock that the Phils are the early games.

It's fair . Around the country, who wants to watch the Brewers ? Game 3 at 6:30 that's Pime Time on the east coast..I don't like it, but I understand why..Nutter should step up and call for half days for all..Lets call it a baseball Bail out FOR THE CITY...

You'd think Bud would step up and demand that his Brewers get a prime time slot!

At least it's better than last year, when both home games were at 3 p.m. and the games in Colorado were late at night.

Who cares when we play, as long as when teh game is over, the PHils have more runs then the Brew crew

That's actually a good idea. Why not have the city declare a half-day holiday? If the economy is in the toilet, what's really going to be lost with 4 hours of work?

    The reason?

If the Red Sox or the Yankees or the Mets (or it used to be the Braves) are playing ESPN, for the most part, will ignore Philadelphia. Directv will give the opposition feed and won't give us High Def. It is a conspiracy against the city. the best part is that Jose Reyes won't be on at ANYTIME. go Phils

stoky: blame Comcast for the Phillies lack of feed to DirecTV. Though in all fairness in 2008, there were plenty of Phillies feeds this year.
