Wow! Charlie dropped Werth to the 6th spot (hope that provides a spark to his slump) and Carlos is catching Myers?!— KarenA- I originally liked moving Werth up to the 2 spot but now that his bat has been non-existent, this is the better lineup. My ballsy prediction, CC lasts 4 2/3 and gets rocked while Myers tosses a gem. Go Phils!!— davemarsh

- Of course Ruiz should be starting. He's a much better defensive catcher than Coste is (yeah, he let a runner advance to third on a wild pitch, but that was about the 8th slider Lidge had bounced up to him, and he did manage to keep it in front of him). I'm not sure if anyone but me noticed, but he also had the only clean hit of our one and only rally yesterday. It would make more sense if Jason Werth should be starting instead of Bruntlett. Werth had four TERRIBLE at-bats yesterday. He struck out three times, hit a weak foul pop, and looked clueless at the plate. I'm not saying Werth shouldn't start. He should. But why all the hate for Carlos? He's the 8-hole hitter guys. We have him to play solid defense and call a good game. If you want to be mad at someone for not producing, especially given yesterday's game, look at almost everyone 1-7 before you call Ruiz out.— Chris Havener

Ruiz is a mild surprise, but he's been hitting the ball a bit more lately. Moving Werth to 6 is really more about putting Victorino up at the 2 spot, given that he will bat RH against CC. That's a good move, and hopefully Werth will have some runs to knock in when he reaches the plate. Should be fun!— bobby

- I love Chris Coste but Ruiz handles the pitchers better and will block the plate when needed . Worth has been a bust so far and I'd like to see Dobbs in the lineup . Don't save him to pinch hit !— Joe R.
