It's hard to split Utley and Howard when the two logic replacements (Werth and Burrell) are struggling, but I am with you on that. Now, and I posted this before, we probably are not going to see Dobbs hit or play the field until Saturday, because of Sabathia and the 3 lefties in the pen. That's a week off and not good for his timing. Also, by moving Werth, I think Charlie is sending him a message to concentrate in taking more pitches. When he does that, he is a better hitter. Ruiz is playing good baseball now.

Wow! What a lineup. You now have your clean up guy hitting .224 against lefties; your 5 hole guy hitting .205 for Sept, your 6 hole hitter in a 1 for 20 slump and your 8 hole batter hitting .212 against lefties this season and then your pitcher hitting nothing for the season aginst the pitcher with the best ERA in the MLB in Aug. and Sept. Game two over before it starts. Moyer and Hamels win in Milwaukee to take series 3-1.

Cholly would probably prefer to bat Werth third and break up the lefties but Werth hasn't been hitting and Victorino is not a #3 hitter- hopefully we can use the speed at the top of the lineup to manufacture some runs. Ruiz was the better catcher down the stretch, matching Coste with Myers was a way to make sure Ruiz got a day off, not an issue with three off days before the series and an off day tomorrow. Truth- I don't care if Sabathia throws 19 innings of no-hit ball, as long as we win in the 20th. GO PHILS!!!

Utley-Howard just doesn't work. Too susceptible to the nasty LH reliever as we saw again yesterday. Bat Utley second and Victorino third if there are no other options.

Now if only Cholly would figure out that Victorino should be hitting lead off and not JRoll.
