Feliz is not so much better as a glove that can justify playing ahead of Dobbs. The way the Phils hit they need BATS.

What are you even talking about Timm? Hos is that even some what a suprise, just because he is a righty facing a righty?

yes, since that will have 4 right handed bats in a row. but as i said, it is a the only some what surprise. the other 8 were locks. not a total shock though b/c that is generally charlie's line up.

Feliz playing is not a huge surprise, but I could certainly see starting Dobbs in the hopes that he provides some offense, then sub in Feliz in late innings if we have a lead.

Wow, hard to believe we are here!! The NLCS runs through Philadelphia! I must admit there were times this season when I thought there was no way they'd be here. But a baseball season is a funny thing. Get hot at the right times, have pitching when it counts, and you never know. Now it's time for the Phils to go out and have fun! Let's go Cole! Let's go Ryan, Jimmy, Chase, and Pat! Everybody hits... whoo hoo!!!

bobby....I was thinking the other way around. Feliz is starting for his defense. If we need more offense, put Dobbs in. Isn't he hitting over 300 off the bench?

I think they need to keep a close eye on Utley over the next 2 games and if he can't produce against the righty’s it's time to move him up or down. Maybe Burrell can hit #3 who knows but so far its been ugly for Chase and once again Charlie is flogging that dead horse to prove what? If they suspect he is hurt then what the hell is he doing hitting third? It's hard to believe they don't know his physical situation which brings up the question why is he in a slump. Is it timing or the role they are asking him to fulfill? Maybe he should hit 5th and Burrell 3rd that’s easy enough to do for one game. I noticed Torre is not locked in to some preconceived notion of who hits where as he will bat them to get best results. Ya listening CHARLIE? Sorry folks but I'm really worried about this lineup and if Rollins and Shane don't produce we're going to have a tough time of it.

Three batters into the game, Cole has me nervous - just gives up a big long double to Manny scoring the Dodgers first run.... Come on Cole bring your "A" game!

Manny "professional hitman" Ramirez. Rough start I hope Cholly tells Cole not to test him any further....

Into the fourth and the Phillies futile offense continues. Heck, aside from Burrel and Utley, they can't hit a ball even remotely hard. I hope it changes, but we can't expect a new series to suddenly change the direction this offense has taken for most of the year. Actually, aside from home runs, I kind of like the Dodgers offense a little better. But again, hopefully the Phils can magically snap out of this funk.
