A few other notes from the clubhouse:

-- Shane Victorino will not play against the Yankees on Thursday, Charlie Manuel said. But Victorino could be ready for action again in two to three days, the manager said.

-- J.C. Romero threw 27 pitches in a bullpen session earlier today. Still no breaking balls. He gave it the thumbs up. "I feel good," he said. "That's the important thing."

-- Brad Lidge also threw another bullpen session without any problems.

-- Manuel said he envisions having his regulars get around 60-80 at-bats this spring, just like last spring. When asked if he learned anything after a shorter off-season following 2008, Manuel said the staff kept closer tabs on players to make sure they were ready to go conditioning-wise when camp started.

-- Tonight's opponent, Florida State, is ranked No. 3 in the nation. The Seminoles defeated No. 5 Florida last night. As is customary, the Florida State players will come through the Phillies clubhouse before the game to meet the players.
