The Phillies will christen the 11th year at Citizens Bank Park without Chase Utley. Their second baseman has the flu, according to the team, and will not be at the ballpark Tuesday. The Phillies will play with 24 men for the third time in their first seven games.

That prompted some lineup shuffling for Ryne Sandberg. He will bat Carlos Ruiz third for the first time in his career. (He has two plate appearances batting third, but both as a substitute.)

Cesar Hernandez will play second base for Utley. Kyle Lohse starts for Milwaukee.
