MILWAUKEE — This is the 61st Phillies game and Charlie Manuel has written down his 45th different batting order.

Michael Young is hitting leadoff Thursday, which is something new. Young has not batted first since 2004. But he has done it 243 times in his career.

"They say you always fall back to what you originally were," Manuel quipped.

Mostly, Manuel wanted sizzling John Mayberry Jr. in the lineup while keeping Jimmy Rollins third, where he has enjoyed success. Since moving to the No. 3 spot 10 games ago, Rollins is hitting .296/.513/.481.
