Game 51: For American League, a lineup shuffle

BOSTON — Major League Baseball has dubbed this "Rivalry Week," although it's difficult to say how intense the Phillies-Red Sox "rivalry" is. The people at Citizens Bank Park love it because the Boston games are always guaranteed sellouts.

First, the Phillies come to Fenway Park for two. They will face Alfredo Aceves instead of Clay Buchholz, the American League's leader in ERA, and that is a break. They will play Monday with a new-look lineup.

Michael Young was moved from his No. 3 spot in the lineup. Jimmy Rollins was moved down from leadoff to third. He has batted there once, on April 15. Ben Revere ascends to the top of the lineup.

And Ryan Howard is playing first base.

Howard missed Sunday's game with soreness in his left knee. It is an issue that will linger all season. He is apparently healthy enough to play the field. Delmon Young will serve as designated hitter.

The full lineup:

1. Ben Revere 8
2. Michael Young 5
3. Jimmy Rollins 6
4. Ryan Howard 3
5. Delmon Young 0
6. Domonic Brown 7
7. John Mayberry Jr. 9
8. Freddy Galvis 4
9. Erik Kratz 2
Tyler Cloyd 1
