Either Werth stays or they replace him in-house with Brown and Francisco. I have the utmost confidence in both players. Save the money and go get quality relievers. Myers is a good signing.

The Phils got back Brett Myers? No, they signed Dan Meyer.

Dan Myers is correct as I forgot about the other Myers totally. Thanks!

    jpelle36, it's Dan Meyer. No 's'.

jpelle's commentary is on the money. I agree completely. If in fact Werth stays, say goodbye to Brown (for prospects?).

they aren't trading Brown. If Werth stays, Brown platoons in left and takes over in 2012.

Boras will wait until Crawford signs and maybe longer (see Matt Holliday) Waiting that long only makes filling out a roster that much harder. Thanks for the memories, you won't be able to carry a team, you are a complementary player.
