Pat Burrell finished third in mlb.com voting for the final roster spot on the National League all-star team.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Corey Hart won. He finished ahead of New York Mets third baseman David Wright. San Francisco Giants outfielder Aaron Rowand and Houston Astros outfielder Carlos Lee finished fourth and fifth. Burrell still has a chance to make the team, however, if Colorado Rockies manager Clint Hurdle chooses him to replace injured Chicago Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano on the roster. Hurdle already has replaced Soriano in the starting lineup with Rockies leftfielder Matt Holliday.
