This doesn't sound good.

The Phillies changed their interview schedule today to include head athletic trainer Scott Sheridan. He will be talking about Pat Burrell's bad back, which means there is a very good chance he will be scratched from Game 1 of the National  League division series. I caught wind that the Phillies will see how Burrell performs in BP before they make an official decision, but still .... the trainer is making an appearance in the interview room before Burrell takes BP.

Not good.

Rudy Seanez officially off the postseason roster. No surprise there.

Seanez and catcher Lou Marson will travel with the team, however.

Adam Eaton, Les Walrond and Tadahito Iguchi have returned to their respective homes. Shows just how far Eaton has fallen off the Phillies' radar. They didn't even waste his time sending him to instructional league to stay sharp.
