Got a question for Greg Dobbs? Shoot Todd Zolecki an e-mail and he'll ask him.Got a question for Greg Dobbs?

Sure you do.

If you have a good one, send an e-mail to me HERE. Please include your first name, initial of your last name and city and state where you live.

Dobbs has been an interesting story for the Phillies. Claimed off waivers from the Seattle Mariners on Jan. 16, 2007, Dobbs has emerged as one of the most dangerous pinch-hitters in baseball. He also spells Pedro Feliz at third base, and can play a little outfield. He's been one of Pat Gillick's finest pick ups since he became the Phillies' general manager before the 2006 season.

I'd like to ask Dobbs your questions before Wednesday's game, so hop to it.

Are we at the point yet, where Ruiz gets all the starts on day games after night games? Yeah, yeah, I know, Coste isn't good enough, yeah, yeah, he is a great story, but at some point the fairy tale is going to end, yeah, yeah, he isn't the kind of guy who can play everyday at this level and put up numbers, yeah, yeah... These are only the last 4 or 5 things that he wasn't supposed to be able to do. I think one of the first one's was when he couldn't play for his college team that he walked on to. So he went to a community college, and played there. Couldn't get drafted, so he played Independent ball, and worked in the front office. Needed money so found someone to take him in the low minors to pay him...wasn't going to stay there long either...somehow got to AA then AAA. Would never get to the show. Well, he's here now, and you can't get him out. Might as well just ride him. Rod Barajas was making 3 times what he is making. Just play him Play him until all the nay-sayers are proven right. Play him until he's fallen and he can't get up. But all the time, you're playing him, remember the thing that he told every manager from college to the present...I won't be an all-star, but if you give me a chance, I'll surprise you. Ahhh, yeahhhhh.

I agree. But Chris himself has said he wouldn't be as good a hitter if he played everyday.

Hi Greg, love the positive attidude and hardwork you bring to the team. It's obvious you are truly motivated and eager to show the world you can play. You are also the true epitome of a team player. No whining and bickering about not starting everday. Have you ever thought about lining baseballs in the direction of your antithesis, Brett Myers?

He would still be better than Ruiz. Our lineup is much better with Coste. He needs to play at least 5 days a week.

Coste, Ruiz, John Wockenfuss, who cares?! We need Myers or Eaton to turn it around, we can't score 12 runs every night! Bring up Carrasco!

Eaton really hasn't been the problem. We don't score any runs for him. But I agree with the Myers point, he never has and never will be a great starter. Why keep Carrasco in the minors, give him a chance.

Eaton isnt a problem? Maybe you have him mixed up with someone else. He had the worst ERA of any NL starter last year and is right there again. you cant ask any team to score enough runs to support a 6+ ERA. Myers stinks right now, but he's not nearly as bad as Eaton.
