April 15 - Astros vs. Phillies

Just another ho-hum comeback for the Phillies.

Chris Snelling takes the first pitch from Jose Valverde and hits a solo homer to right field in the ninth to make it, 3-1. Valverde hits Chase Utley with the next pitch and two batters later Pat Burrell hits a game-trying home run to right field. Geoff Jenkins follows, strikes out and reaches first on a passed ball. Pedro Feliz then rips a ball down the left-field line. Jenkins blows through third base coach Steve Smith's stop sign at third and scores on a bang-bang play at the plate to beat the Astros, 4-3.

If the Phillies lose tonight they'll be 2-4 without Jimmy Rollins in the starting lineup.

The Phillies stranded runners on first and second with no outs in the sixth. Greg Dobbs struck out. Jayson Werth popped out and Carlos Ruiz grounded out.

The Phillies just pinch-hit for Adam Eaton in the bottom of the sixth inning with runners on first and second and no outs. In six innings, Eaton allowed seven hits, three runs and two walks. He struck out three. That's Eaton's third-straight quality start, the first time he had accomplished that feat since he had three-straight quality starts June 6, 11 and 17 last season.

The Phillies still trail, 3-0.
