The Phillies have won two close games with the Washington Nationals and now look to sweep their N.L. East rivals when they conclude their series tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies have won two close games with the Washington Nationals and now look to sweep their N.L. East rivals when they conclude their series tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

Washington, a trendy preseason pick to win the World Series, is 34-36 and tied with the Phillies (35-37),  Both are seven games behind the Atlanta Braves.

The Phillies will go with the same eight positions players as Tuesday when the Phillies earned a 4-2 win.

Kyle Kendrick (6-4, 3.76) opposes lefty Gio Gonzaleez (3-3, 340).
