Coming off his first Major League win, Jonathan Pettibone makes his third start for the Phillies in tonight’s second of a four-game set at Citizens Bank Park against the Florid Marlins.

Pettibone (1-0, 4.35 ERA) will be opposed by RHP Ricky Nolasco (2-2, 3.82). He is coming off last Saturday’s 9-4 win over the New York Mets at Citi Field. Pettibone allowed seven hits and three runs in five innings, striking out four and walking two.

“I think each time I go out, my confidence builds,” Pettibone said.

In Pettibone’s first two starts he lasted a total of 10  1/3 innings, so the next step is to attempt to go deeper into the game.

The Phillies (13-16)  are 3-1 this season against Miami (8-21) following Thursday’s 7-2 victory.

Ben Revere, who sat out Thursday with a jammed finger, is back in the lineup at center for the Phillies. So is catcher Carlos Ruiz, who was given Thursday night off.

Here is the Phillies lineup

1.Jimmy Rollins, SS

4. Ryan Howard, 1B
