Game 5: Looking to bounce back

Lefthander John Lannan makes his Phillies debut in tonight’s matchup with the Kansas City Royals at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies squandered a 4-0 led and saw the Royals score the game’s final 13 runs in a 13-4 rout during Friday’s home opener.

The Royals will go with righthander Luis Mendoza, who has pitched just one inning in his career against the Phillies, that was 2008 while he was with the Texas Rangers.

Here is the Phillies lineup against RHP Luis Mendoza. Two Phillies changes from Friday have John Mayberry Jr., in RF and Humberto Quintero catching.
