Billy, Billy, Billy
This is from Adam Rubin, the Mets beat writer for the New York Daily News.
Former Phillies closer Billy Wagner is ticked that some of his New York Mets teammates keep ducking the media after losses: "Someone tell me why the (expletive) you're talking to the closer? I didn't even play. They're over there, not being interviewed ... I got it. They're gone. (Expletive) shocker."
Love it.
You could tell by how they finished last year that there were problems in that clubhouse. Players were shipped out over the winter and again this week......sounds like there's still trouble in their house.....good for Billy to stir it up, will only lead to more problems for that team and reduce this Division to a two team race by the All Star break....

Billy doesn't stir it up. He just alienates his team mates. He's an idiot.
While Billy is an idiot at times, I always gave him credit for always standing up like a man when he blows a game. And this time I think he was right to call out his teammates. Not that I don't enjoy watching the Mutts have their issues.
Typical Billy Wagner stirring things up and causing trouble in the clubhouse. While his teammates deserve to be chewed out, Wagner is still a rabble-rouser. I'm glad he's out of Philly. and to top it all off, he wore a Patriots hat during his rant. I knew I never liked this guy!
Don't get me wrong. I think it was pretty classless of the team to duck the media, too. I can't imagine anyone likes to talk to the media after a bad loss. But.......It was only a 1-0 loss. And NOT the 7th game of the World Series! It wasn't like the media was going to hang them out to dry. Maybe the Mutts need to watch video of the Phils post-game interviews. We can show them how to do it with class!
