The Phillies have recalled RHP B.J Rosenberg from Lehigh Valley for today’s game. Under the new MLB collective bargaining agreement, teams can call up an extra player for a doubleheader as long as it doesn’t occur the day after a postponed game.

Rosenberg said he flew in this morning from Columbus, where the Iron Pigs were playing.

"It's great to be here," he said.

Jonathan Papelbon blew his first save but earned the victory in Saturday’s 7-6 win over Tamp Bay. He had converted the first 18 of the season, which is his second longest streak of his career. The longest was 20 straight in 2006.
