Brody Colvin, one of the Phillies' Baby Aces for Class A Clearwater, was pulled after three innings Friday night, with tightness in his groin.

The team said the move was precautionary and that Colvin is scheduled to make his next start.

Colvin allowed one hit with four strikeouts. Relievers Tommy Palica and Andy Loomis finished off the combined two-hit shutout in the 9-0 win over Fort Myers.

Colvin, 20, is 2-4 with a 4.03 ERA this season in 14 games. He missed time earlier with a back injury.
