Radio Hall induction for Harry

Legendary Phillies announcer Harry Kalas has been selected as one of three posthumous inductees into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

Kalas was honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame as the Ford C. Frick award winner in 2002.

Joining Kalas are Jose Miguel Agrelot,  known as “The Puerto Rican Bob Hope" who will be the first Latino inducted into the Hall, and Chicago broadcasting legend Studs Terkel.

    Congrats Harry the K! A well deserved honor for the best baseball play-by-play announcer ever, and a great guy. You are and will always be missed!

    Gotta ask, what's the point? Harry had a long and distinguished career and NOW they choose to honor him? I wouldn't publicize such a fraud organization that obviously didn't realize that he was a hall of famer while he was alive. Posthumous honors are a joke perpetuated by organizations just looking for publicity for themselves.
