Unbelievable. Luna and Fontenot entered the season thinking their careers could be over and Pierre had serious doubts about his. Galvis had little shot of making the club. Now, you pitch around Ruiz and you're home free. I'm with Sam Crow, 5-1 loss. Our run is unearned.

You do realize that Galvis is 3rd on team with 19 Rbi's and is not an automatic out.Time for Pence to start producing with men on base.Getting paid big money now its time for him to do his job.

The Phillies are in last place, under .500, and leaving more men on base than a military installation. "Paternity Leave" for the starting shortstop, who happens to be playing at home? One night off to celebrate was appropriate but this is pathetic. It's not like the team is on the West Coast and Jimmy won't be right home, after a 2-3 hour baseball game. Not many factory workers or truck drivers get the luxury to miss "work", when a wife has a baby! And then there's Utley the wimp, who is taking more time to rehab a chronic pain condition than people having major surgery or life-threatening injuries. Suck it up and get down to Clearwater before more of the season is lost. People go to work or spend their lives with chronic pain, not having the choice to conduct a slow and self-centered recovery plan. The Phillies and some of their prima donna players are doing a horrible job with public relations and showing the fans that they really care. The team deserves to be in last place right now! The fans deserve better!!

As bad as it seems ... with the total ineptness of the GM, and the bumbling decisions made on a nightly basis by the manager, and the total lack of talent on the field. The Phillies are 21-22 and two and a half games out of a playoff spot.
    Typical overachieving Philly team.

    Go Phils!
