Phillies lineup: Ben Revere is leading off. . .and so is Jimmy Rollins

Ben Revere might have the shortest resumé of the players Ruben Amaro Jr. added this winter, but he also could have the biggest impact. (Yong Kim/Staff Photographer)

The highlight of today will be watching some of the young pitchers who have used the last year to put themselves in position for a big league promotion. Specifically, lefty Adam Morgan and righty Jonathan Pettibone, who figure to be the first two in line as the next man up when, not if, injuries strike. Ethan Martin is another guy I'm interested in seeing. The Phillies acquired him in the Shane Victorino trade last year and are quite high on him. The word on him from people outside of the organization: huge fastball, but a curveball that was neglected a bit in the Dodgers organization. The Phillies insist they see him as a starter, although some scouts project him as a reliever.

The game is slated for noon at Bright House Field, and admission is free, so if you want to pop in on your lunch break, feel free to do so.
