I'm sure you all know this by now, but the Phillies have called up John Mayberry Jr. He will join the team tomorrow. LHP Sergio Escalona was sent to Lehigh Valley.

I'm sure you all know this by now, but the Phillies have called up John Mayberry Jr. He will join the team tomorrow. LHP Sergio Escalona was sent to Lehigh Valley.

I'm in a hurry to hit the Jersey Turnpike, so I'll leave you with this quote on Brett Myers' pitch that he threw behind Derek Jeter's back in the first inning:

“I think that’s what we need to do as a team,” Myers (4-2, 4.34) said. “I think everyone protects each other on the team. It’s part of the game. It’s kind of like eye for an eye.”

that trade for peavy is a complete joke thats the future the phils can bring up kendrick and peavy will be exposed in CBP and he already said he doesnt want to go to philly... mets dont have the talent to get him and the braves are going to get hudson back and also bring up that kid hanson my guess is cubs

the trade to get mayberry ia looking good they traded him for golson which they didnt need they have speed and you can never have enough power at CBP

It's time for Moyer to retire and be a coach. Happ deserves the spot no way trading happ. Give blanton and three minor leaguers fro peavy, but not happ.
