Phils always seem to follow big run output with crappy offensive effort the next game. Remember the 22 against Cinn.? Only scored like 3 runs the rest of the week. That has to change. Starting tonight.
I saw Manny at GNC in center city this morning....he was waiting nervously at the counter when the gnc dude came out from the back with something wrapped in brown paper....Manny slipped him an envelope and quickly two stepped it outta there. I'm sure it was just Flinstone vitamins, but it seemed odd nonetheless.
I agree with Big Cushy - Phils' momentum from last nights game HAS to carry over into tonight. The Dodgers got thumped last night and they're going to be extra hungry tonight. We can't take tonights game lightly at all. Phils need to come out swinging hard and just finish the job....
Probably Jimmys biggest hit.of career. Home plate umpire was plain awfull. How does he keep his job? This may be off the wall but why not send Michael Taylor to triple AAA next year to see if he can learn to play 3rd base? This has nothing to do with Pedro's error but I am intrigued with Taylors bat and there is no place for him. It may be a long shot but it's been done before. Andy Pafko was changed into a 3rd baseman in the 50's also Bob Elliot and Johny Bench. Feliz has an option for next year. It would be tough on Taylor following Pedro's glove.
