 Cliff Lee stood in front of his locker with a bemused expression on his face as reporters peppered him with questions about a pain he no longer feels.

This is what it is like to be the $120 million man: Every wince, every limp, every burp is subject to become headline news.

Lee re-iterated what Ruben Amaro Jr. said yesterday, that the lefthander is 100 percent and no longer battling any sort of ailment.

Today is the first day of live batting practice, which is always a welcome break from a week's worth of bullpen sessions and fielding practices.

I'm sure everybody up north will be thrilled to hear that the weather has been immaculate thus far. My biggest issue is that the air conditioning in my condo doesn't seem to be functioning. Last year, that would not have been a problem. One year ago today the high temperature was 63 degrees. It was a cold, windy, rainy spring. Today, it is supposed to be sunny and 80 degrees.

But, like I said, you probably don't want to hear any of that.
