Quick injury update from the Ol' Ballyard, where the Ghost of Phillies Offense Past has decided to drop by.

Geoff Jenkins, who left the game prior to the fourth inning, was examined by Dr. Michael Ciccotti and was diagnosed with a hip flexor or a high quad strain. He is going to have an MRI tomorrow.

We'll keep you posted.

Maybe So Taguchi will hurt himself, too. Ok, that was mean, but whatever.

Nice comment Matt...Why don't you get off his back. You should look elsewhere if you want to put some blame on the teams performance...

Addition by subtraction, unfortunately. To say it lightly, Jenkins has "struggled" this year, and Jayson Werth will be a little more productive. Tracy can help out at Third Base, and Dobbs can be the left-handed right fielder when they need one.
