It's a boy

Line-ups for tonight are below. It's another picture-perfect day at Dodger Stadium. I wonder if it is ever cloudy in this area of the state. Today's celebrity sighting: Henry Winkler, better known as the Fonz. Good times.

Line-ups for tonight are below. It's another picture-perfect day at Dodger Stadium. I wonder if it is ever cloudy in this area of the state. Today's celebrity sighting: Henry Winkler, better known as the Fonz. Good times.

Right fielder Geoff Jenkins was a little late arriving to the park today. But he isn't going to get into trouble. His wife had a baby boy this afternoon. He was in the dugout an hour ago running on about two hours of sleep. His wife went into labor around 2 a.m. They were staying at the team hotel. The couple live in Arizona, so she had driven out to meet the team. She wasn't due for another three and a half weeks, so they weren't really prepared. Jenkins ran downstairs and got the concierge to recommend a hospital (I'm not sure if concierge's are used to doing that). At 12:59 p.m. Justyce Tyler Jenkins was born at Huntingdon Hospital in Pasadena.

"Now," Jenkins said, "we have a chance for two miracles in one day."
