Darensbourg and Knotts re-assigned
The Phillies re-assigned pitchers Vic Darensbourg and Gary Knotts. Darensbourg, a lefty, allowed four runs in his only inning of work last night. RHP J.D. Durbin allowed six runs and is likely out of the running for spots in the rotation and bullpen, but he is out of options so he'd have to clear waivers before getting sent down.

Gee, I wonder if J.D. Durbin will clear waivers?
Too bad we did not try John Patterson but the Rangers did! JD will go to Allentown or be released. I still hope Blackley gets a job.
This update should be under Rotten Cheese. Who gives a sh**? These guys suck. Clay Condrey, keep you bags packed too!
The Rangers pitching line up consists of, Kevin Millwood RHP; Vicente Padilla RHP; Jason Jennings RHP; Kason Gabbard LHP and Brandon McCarthy RHP
An injured John Patterson with no velocity might be an upgrade.
Apparently they cleared out Blackley's locker and will be offering him back to the Giants. If so, that definitely increases JD's chances of staying with the club.
Right, keep a 12.33 ERA pitcher and release a 2.57ERA reliever (if you've been keeping track of Blackley's ERA in relief)
I say pick up Aaron Fultz...
Lancer, stop dissin' on Condrey. Obviously you didn't want the team much last year to see that his runs came on blow-out games only. He pitched very effectively in close games.
