Delmon Young hasn't played a game in right field since Sept. 29, 2007.

He will eventually be asked to play their regularly for the Phillies. That experiment will not begin on Wednesday night in Cleveland.

The Phillies lineup:

1. Jimmy Rollins, SS

4. Ryan Howard, 1B

5. Delmon Young, DH

6. Domonic Brown, LF

7. Carlos Ruiz, C

8. Laynce Nix, RF

9. Ben Revere, CF

Cliff Lee is pitching.

Although he didn't commit to it, Charlie Manuel sure made it sound like he'd play Young in right field today when he spoke prior to Tuesday's game.

"I’ve been thinking about getting him a game [at right field] before we get home," Manuel said. "I might do that."

Instead, it appears he'll wait until Thursday at Citizens Bank Park against the Marlins.
