Philly's Carlos Ruiz population continues to grow

Congratulations are in order for Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz, who returned to Panama yesterday for the birth of his second child. The baby is a healthy boy named Carlos, although he has a different middle name so he is not technically a Jr. Ruiz also has an eight-year old son named Carlos.

Factor in the Philadelphia Union's recent signing of Carlos Ruiz, and it's only a matter of time before Shadow of the Wind author Carlos Zafron Ruiz purchases a place on the Main Line.

Ruiz the catcher could be back in Phillies camp as early as Friday.
