Figure this is a good way to kill some time at work.

The following are some Phillies-related Over/Unders courtesy of BoDogLife.com.

Log your predictions now so you can say "I told you so" at the end of the year:

  1. Total Home Runs for Ryan Howard: 43.5
  2. Total Howard RBI: 142.5
  3. Chase Utley home runs: 27.5
  4. Raul Ibanez home runs: 22.5
  5. Jimmy Rollins stolen bases: 39.5
  6. Shane Victorino stolen bases: 34.5
  7. Cole Hamels wins: 14.5
  8. Brett Myers wins: 11.5
  9. Brad Lidge saves: 37.5
  10. David Murphy typos: 25.5

I'll try to put more up later in the week.

As for actual news, here is Cole Hamels' line from his minor league appearance today: Hamels in Minor Lg game: 4 IP, 10 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 5 K, 64 pitches, 44 strikes.

I didn't watch it. Paul Hagen was there. He'll have a complete report when he returns.

I'll take the over on 1-10. How about an over/under on total wins- 94?

I guess there were a lot of DPs, or he struck out a few guys with the bases loaded. He also gave a free ticket and we don't know if there were errors.

OMG its an exhibition game. RE-FREAKIN-LAX. He'll be fine. I dont hear anyone worrying about their preseason record. Why's that? Because it doesnt mean anything.

I would better over on all of them except 2 & 4. All the chance of 2&4 happening in my mind is atleat 50/50.

I'll take the over on 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10. Howard has been locked in this Spring, he's going to come out firing this year and have a monster year. Utley is healthy and ready to go, he'll top 30 HRs. Hamels easily wins more than 14 if he stays healthy. Last season, the bullpen blew very few saves but always seemed like it was Hamels lead that got blown. He should have had 18-19 wins last year. Myers isn't a head-case to start the season, he'll definitely win more than 11 games. The rotation and bats are in better shape at the start of the year than they were last season, I expect the Phils to up their win total which means more save opportunties for Lidge. Murph, who are you kidding? You'll top 26 typos by the end of the first month of the season, just teasing, lol.

Murph's picture looks like a cross between The Fonz and Jm J. Bullock (Monroe from Too Close for Comfort).

Murph, it will be a (rhymes with pitch) for Lidge to get half a save.
