Postgreen Homes hosts ‘not so traditional’ open house
Postgreen Homes, known for creating sustainable communities through conscious development, is hosting a ‘not so traditional’ open house on Thursday, May 7.
Postgreen Homes, known for creating sustainable communities through conscious development, is hosting a 'not so traditional' open house on Thursday, May 7 to showcase their latest project, Duplexcellence II, two-bedroom starter units with private outdoor space for half the price of a townhome. The open house will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 1308 N. Hope St. in South Kensington.
Duplexcellence II will consist of 4 units in two buildings and the facades will be made of more environmentally-friendly materials like rusted steel and reclaimed barn-wood siding.
Besides the chance to tour the new units, this unique open house will also include free bike tune-ups by local mechanics as well as a chance to shop for handmade items by local artists and craft makers including, Glossblack, Earth & Iron, Cuttalossa and Julia Blaukopf. Philadelphia Brewing Company and Rowhouse Spirits will be offering drinks while light fare will be provided by Feast Your Eyes.
