Kevin Jonas sells NJ mansion

Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the former pop-rock band The Jonas Brothers, has sold his northern New Jersey mansion for $1.67 million.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the former pop-rock band The Jonas Brothers, has sold his northern New Jersey mansion for $1.65 million.

The 4,788-square-foot Denville home was where he and his wife, Danielle, filmed their short-lived E! reality series "Married to Jonas," which chronicled their lives as newlyweds.

According to Amy Werner of Terrie O'Connor Reatlors, the firm that listed the home, the former pop star and his wife sold this Morris County home to "build bigger and even better."

Werner said the famous couple purchased home in 2010 as new construction, and completed many renovations. They completely redid the kitchen and finished the basement with a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, movie theater and wet bar. The former pop star also redid the landscaping and put in a cabana and pool in the backyard.

While the Jonas Brothers officially broke up in 2013, the three brothers have gone on to pursue their own endeavors. According to Werner, Kevin has created a luxury home construction and renovation company, Jonas Werner Fine Homes, with partner Bill Werner.  The company is based out of Kevin's hometown in Wyckoff.

The five bedroom, five-and-a-half bath home was listed in October and sold in January, but final papers were not signed until recently.

Scenes from "Married to Jonas" were filmed all throughout the property – showing the couple planting trees, hosting parties, and just hanging out.

Kevin and Danielle recently welcomed their daughter, Alena, into the world.
