One of the gems from late mid-century modern architect Frank Weise has just hit the market.

The row home, located on the corner of 12th and Lombard Streets, was built in the 1960s as part of Camac Village, a large renewal project in Washington Square West.

The 1,536-square-foot home, with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, is listed for $529,000.

According to the listing, the corner row home was updated over the last few years with refinished wood floors, a new kitchen, and a covered deck.

The open living room has floor-to-ceiling windows and a den with a fireplace.

We wrote about another one of Weise's homes a few months ago just a few blocks away on the 1200 block of Pine Street. A little larger than the Lombard Street home, the home has a spiral staircase and also has floor-to-ceiling windows that extend from the first to second floors. The home just got a $100,000 price cut today, and is now listed for $775,000.

Aside from his efforts in renewing Washington Square West and designing over 150 row homes, Weise is also known for his involvement in retaining riverfront access for the city during the building of I-95, the restoration of Head House Square, and the adaptation of the Eastern State Penitentiary.
