Ryan Howard's home on Deerfield Court in Blue Bell is in a pending sale.

First baseman Ryan Howard’s future with the Phillies is not a given. But meanwhile, he is almost ready to say goodbye to his home in Blue Bell.

The Big Piece is building a massive estate in Florida.

Howard’s home in Montgomery County is now listed as a pending sale. According to reps from Bristol Real Estate, the listing agent, Howard’s home will close around mid-August.

County records show that Howard purchased the 8,900-square-foot home on Deerfield Court in March 2009 for $2.3 million. It’s listed now for $2.95 million. The sold price won’t be made public until it is officially closed.

The home is in a private setting on a cul-de-sac, and has six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths. It includes not one, but two exercise rooms: one in the basement, and one in the master suite. Luxury features can be found throughout the home: a gourmet chef kitchen, a basement with a bar, wine cellar and movie theater, and a master bedroom suite with his-and-hers bath area and walk-in closets.

There’s also a pool and pool house, fire pit and brick patio in the backyard.

For the past few years, Howard’s been building something even more massive in Belleair Shore, Fla., close to the Phillies’ training center in Clearwater.

No word yet on when it will be completed, but the sports blog Crossing Broad posted a few pictures of the 17,000-square-foot-plus estate earlier this month.

Howard is reportedly spending $5.8 million to build the eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom waterfront home. The Tampa Bay Times broke down the lavish costs soon before construction began two years ago.
