Ed Malone has been named the football coach at Gloucester.

Malone, 30, replaces long-time coach Leon Harris, who still is the school's athletic director.

Matt Klinewski didn't hear from coaches at Lafayette until April 29.

A little more than two weeks later, the Eastern High School junior committed to attend Lafayette on a basketball scholarship.

Kevin Hagan has resigned after five seasons as Gloucester High School's boys basketball coach.

Hagan, 33, said Wednesday morning that he plans to pursue his master's degree.

Russell Angerstein, a long-time assistant coach who has been out of the game for eight years, has been named head coach at Winslow Township.

Angerstein, 56, replaces Calvin Thompson, who resigned after two seasons. Winslow Township was 0-10 last season.
