Sophomores Mike Vasturia and Sa'eed Nelson led St. Augustine Prep to a 69-66 victory over Eastern Sunday in the Cherry Hill East Invitational.

Vasturia, a forward, scored a 18 and was 4-for-4 from the foul line in the final 0:56.

Nelson, a point guard, scored 16 with four assists and made a couple of acrobatic drives that wowed the large crowd at Cherry Hill East.

The victory improved St. Augustine's record to 18-2 and also marked the 799th win over veteran coach Paul Rodio's career.

"We did what we've done all year," Rodio said. "We play defense when we have to, make foul shots when we have to. Nobody cares who scores."

Rodio can win his 800th Tuesday at Lower Cape May.

Senior center Matt Klinewski scored 29 with seven rebounds for Eastern (18-4).

Klinewski fouled out with 2:24 to play on a tough call off the ball.

Senior guard Alex Barr scored 14 with five assists for Eastern.
