Tennis: Lanciano, Maravich reach SJIT finals

Amanda Lanciano of Haddonfield and Breezy Maravich of Moorestown on Sunday advanced to the singles championship match of the South Jersey Interscholastic Championships in tennis.

Lanciano, a senior, defeated Moorestown Friends freshman Grace Kim by a 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 score in one semifinal at Haddon Township.

In the other semifinal, Maravich defeated Haddonfield's Victoria Martinez by a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 score in a three-setter between two top seniors.

In one doubles semifinal, Chelsa Brown and Arpie Senopoulos of Haddonfield defeated Lauren Romisher and Kristina Klinisova of Cherry Hill East by 6-3, 6-1.

in the other doubles semifinal, Gabrielle DiBattista and Allison Jones of Shawnee defeated Julianna Bidic and Julia Rosen of Bishop Eustace, 6-7 (3-7),  7-6 (7-1), 6-0.

The date and times of the championship matches has yet to be determined.
