The dedication ceremony for Mike Trout Field at Millville High School will be held Monday morning August 12 -- near the top of the Empire State Building in New York City.

A representative for the PR team for BodyArmor SuperDrink -- which Trout endorses -- said Friday that members of Millville baseball team along with coaches, administrators and Trout's parents, Jeff and Debbie, will attend the ceremony.

The Millville contingent will attend the Los Angeles Angeles game that night against the New York Yankees in Yankee Stadium.

The ceremony will commemorate a recent field renovation project at Millville financed by Trout and BodyArmor SuperDrink.

The ceremony will take place at the Empire State Building's 86th floor observatory.

Trout is a 2009 Millville graduate.

He was the American League Rookie of the Year in 2012 and was runner-up for the MVP award.

Trout is putting together another MVP-caliber performance in his second full season. He is batting .326 with 31 doubles, 8 triples, 17 homers. He has 66 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.
